Creative media production programs at our Elk River campus
GU/MSB-Elk River currently offers two media production programs in interactive media and graphic design:
- Associate in Applied Science Degree in Interactive Media and Graphic Design
- Technical Diploma in Interactive Media and Graphic Design

At GU/MSB, we prepare students for jobs. In our creative production programs, we do this by giving them opportunities to build professional portfolios. Students take a whole course devoted to portfolio development and have ample opportunities to add projects from classes to their portfolios as well. An AAS in creative production can lead to a BS in media business
At GU/MSB-Elk River, we offer a 2 + 2 program that allows students with an associate degree in a technical area of creative production to return to school for two more years to earn a bachelor’s degree in media business. Our interactive media and graphic design program is a great foundation for the music business bachelor’s degree program.
