Which area of focus is right for you?
Our business management degree program is designed to provide specialized training in an area of your choice. During the first two years of this program, you will learn broad business management concepts. In the last two years, you will focus on advanced coursework in your area of emphasis. You may choose your emphasis from one of the following areas:
- Agriculture Business. Coursework in agricultural management, cooperatives, agricultural finance and related topics will prepare you for a career as an agriculture analyst or food distribution manager.
- Finance. Find your place in claims investigation, financial advising or production management. Classes cover topics such as comparative economic systems, micro and macro economics, derivatives, investments and statistics.
- Hospitality Management. Learn about food service management, recruitment and retention, workplace diversity issues, casino management and other issues critical to hospitality management.
- Human Resource Management. Coursework in this emphasis covers change management, organizational behavior, compensation issues, workplace legal issues and training and development.
- Marketing. Prepare for a career in advertising agencies, PR firms, and corporate buying departments by learning concepts in sales management, consumer behavior, advertising and promotion, internet marketing, entrepreneurship or marketing research.
