Coursework includes tax accounting, business and general education
Accounting courses in this program cover topics such as accounting principles, payroll accounting, fraud examination, business law and tax-related subjects.
Business courses teach students skills in computer information systems, business writing, MS Office Professional and marketing.
General education electives supplement core coursework by giving students the opportunity to practice writing, presenting, communicating and critical thinking skills.
Preparation for the ACAT exam
Program coursework includes ACAT Review, a prep course for exams given by the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT).
