A history of practical programs
Ever since its inception, Minnesota School of Business has provided practical training – the kind of training that leads to real jobs. In 1877, classes gave students vocational training in bookkeeping and penmanship. Today, the market demands a whole new set of career-focused skills. Now our Elk River campus offers training in five areas: business, health science, legal science and information technology.
Offering online classes since 2000
At the turn of the millennium, Globe University/Minnesota School of Business added distance learning programs to its residential programs, freeing students from the restrictions of time and location as they pursued college education. Today, our online division is thriving. Students enrolled at any of our campuses may sign up for courses that are available online as they work towards their degree. They may also enroll in programs that may not be offered at their local campuses, such as the online MBA degree.
